The Damn Kids backstage with Alice Cooper
A music video for our one of our new songs off our EP called "Fall Risk." It is self recorded and funded all by The Damn Kids themselves. Filmed in an old firehouse by The Library Studios, you can expect to hear some classic rock influences, accompanied by some classic cars in the background!
Jack is 18 years old, and is the front man of the group. Without any real lessons or proper training, Jack has been singing his entire life and his natural ear for melody projects through his voice. Whether he is singing blues, rock and roll, or country, he can always evoke emotion through a crowd. Heavy hints of vocalists such as Jim Morrison, Chris Stapleton, and Bradley Nowell can be heard in his tongue when he sings.
Philip has been playing guitar for about 8 years now, and is 19 years old. While he enjoys exploring and playing all genres, he has very strong blues roots, which are prevalent in his songwriting and playstyle. Drawing influence from guitarists such as Jimmy Page, Stevie Ray Vaughan, B.B. King, Allen Collins, and Billy Gibbons, shuffling around the 12 bars is where Philip feels most at home.
Brock has been laying down beats on the drums for about 5 years now, and is 16 years old. He has proven to shine in upbeat songs that get people's feet tapping. He pulls techniques from intense drummers such as Chad Smith, John Densmore, Frank beard, and of course John Bonham.
Luke is the 18 year old bassist for the damn kids, and has been playing guitar/bass for about 2 years. His ability to think outside the box allows for some groovy basslines as he brings rock and alternative styles to the group. Luke loves listening to Radiohead, Pearl Jam, and The Strokes.
